Flour (sifted) 1/2

Soda 1

Nutmeg
Directions:
Rinse and drain raisins. Cream sugar and shortening; add beaten eggs
and sour cream. Beat well. Sift flour with baking powder, soda, salt
and nutmeg; add sour cream mixture and mix thoroughly. Blend in
vanilla and raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on
greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400-degrees about 12 minutes. Yield: 3
dozen.
