Cup
Butter Or Margarine,
softened
1/2
Cup
Shortening 1 1/2
Cups
Sugar 2
Eggs 2 3/4
Cups
Flour 2
Tsp
Cream Of Tartar 1
Tsp
Baking Soda 2
Tbsp
Sugar,
mixed with

Tsp
Cinnamon
Directions:
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix margarine, shortening, sugar, and eggs
together. Blend in dry ingredients. Shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls
into balls. Roll balls in the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Place rolled
balls 2 inches apart on ungreased baking pan. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes.
Remove from pan immediately. Cookies will look uncooked when done
and will have little cracks on top.
Makes 4 to 6 dozen.
