(7oz) chopped fine

Pecans,
chopped fine

Rice Krispies 1

Vanilla 1/2

Salt 1 1/2

Flaked sweetened coconut
Directions:
Combine the softened margarine, sugar and eggs; beat well. Add chopped
dates. Cook this mixture in a heavy skillet until slightly thickened,
between 10 and 20 minutes on low heat, stirring constantly with a
wooden spoon. Remove from heat; add nuts, cereal, vanilla and salt.
Mix well; cool.
Make small balls of the cooked mixture no larger than walnuts. Roll
the balls in coconut until covered.
Makes about 4 dozen.
