Flour 1/4
cup
Lard 1/4
cup
Butter 1/2
cup
Water,
hot
*pastry 1
cup
Brown sugar
*or: 1/2
cup
Molasses 1/2
teaspoon
Soda
Directions:
Make crumbs by combining the flour, sugar and shortening. Line a pie pan with pastry. Dissolve the soda in the hot water and combine with the molasses.
