Scottish Short Bread

Ingredients: 1 1/4
cups
All-purpose flour 1
Stick
butter
(not margarine) 3
tablespoons
Sugar
Directions:
Add all ingredients in large bowl, and with an electric mixer, blend till
soft
dough forms.Place dough on an ungreased pizza pan or cookie sheet.
Flatten with palm of your hand to 8" in diameter. With pizza cutter or
knife,
cut into 16 wedges. Place pan into preheated 325' oven for 25 minutes.
Remove
from oven, let cool in pan slightly then recut over the cuts you
previously
made. Do not remove from pan as yet, because they are still not crisp
enough and
may crumble. Let cool completely then remove to wire rack.
