Quick Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients: 1/2
cup
Karo light or dark corn syrup 1/3
cup
evaporated milk 16
ounces
semisweet chocolate 2
teaspoons
vanilla 3/4
cup
confectioners sugar,
sifted
1
cup
coarsely chopped nuts,
(optional)
Directions:
Grease 8x8x2 inch pan.
In 2-quart saucepan stir corn syrup and milk. Add chocolate. Stirring constantly, cook over medium-low heat until chocolate is melted.
Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla; add confectioners sugar.
With wooden spoon, beat until smooth.
Stir in nuts.
Spread in pan. Chill 2 hours or until firm.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: In 3-quart microwave bowl stir corn syrup and milk. Stir in chocolate. Microwave at High (100%), stirring once, 6 minutes or until chocolate is completely melted and almost entire surface bubbly. Continue as above.
