Directions:
Preheat oven to 325.
Bring butter and eggs to room temperature. Grease and flour a loaf pan.
Stir together flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. In a large mixing
bowl, beat the butter about 30 seconds. Gradually add sugar, beating 6
minutes or until fluffy. Add vanilla. Add the eggs, one at a time.
Gradually add dry ingredients, beating on low until just blended. Turn
batter into pan and bake 55-60 minutes.
