Pear Crumb Pie

Ingredients:

pears or granny smith -- apples,
peel, core
1/4
cup
sugar 2
tablespoons
cornstarch 1
cup
raisins 1/4
teaspoon
nutmeg 1/4
teaspoon
cinnamon 1

unbaked pie shell 1/2
cup
brown sugar,
pack
1
cup
flour
whipped cream,
garnish
Directions:
Put pears or apples in bowl; add sugar, cornstarch, raisins, nutmeg and
cinnamon. Mix and put in pie shell. Combine brown sugar and flour and
sprinkle over pie. Bake in preheated 400~ oven for 50 minutes or until
fruit is tender. Garnish with whipped cream. Source: Franco Palumbo.
