Pear Apple Pie

Ingredients:

unbaked 9" pie shell 3
c
thinly sliced peeled pears 3
c
thinly sliced apples 3/4
c
sugar 3
tb
flour 1/2
t
cinnamon 1/4
t
salt
topping 1/2
c
brown sugar firmly packed 1/4
c
flour 1/2
c
finely chopped pecans 1/4
c
butter
Directions:
Combine pears, apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Place in pie
shell. Topping: Combine brown sugar, flour, pecans and butter. Sprinkle
over top of pie. Fold a 14" circle of foil loosely over top and around
sides of pie. Bake 425 for 40 minutes. remove foil and continue baking
20 minutes longer.
