Shortening 1

Brown sugar 1/2

Granulated sugar 2
ts
Vanilla 2
Eggs 2 1/4
c
Sifted flour 1
t
Salt 1
t
Baking soda 1 1/2
c
M&m's plain candy
Directions:
Blend shortening and sugars. Beat in vanilla and eggs. Sift
remaining dry ingredients together. Add to the sugar and eggs; mix
well. Stir in 1/2 cup candies and reserve remaining candies for
decorating the top. Drop from teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie
sheet. Decorate top of cookies with remaining candies. Bake at 375
degrees for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Yields 6 dozen.
