Ingredients: 1

shortening 1

sugar 1

brown sugar 2
eggs 1 1/2
cups
sifted flour 1
teaspoon
baking soda 1
teaspoon
salt 3
cups
oatmeal 1 1/2
teaspoons
vanilla
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Sift in dry ingredients, add oatmeal. Shape in roll, wrap in wax paper, and place in ice box for several hours or overnight. Slice about 1/4" thick. Bake in 400 degree oven approximately 10 minute.
