Directions:
Place chocolate chips in small microwave safe bowl. Microwave,
uncovered at 100% power for 2 to 3 minutes or until melted, stirring
every minute; set aside. In small microwave-safe dish, microwave cream
cheese (covered with waxed paper) for 1 minute or until softened at
50% power. Arrange 7 wafers in a single layer in the bottom of a 9 inch
microwave pie plate. With the remaining 11 wafers, break one-fourth off
each and stand up the larger piece around edge of pie plate to make a
petal crust. Fill in holes in bottom of crust with the broken pieces of
wafers; set aside.
In small mixer bowl at medium speed, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
Beat in eggs until mixture is very smooth. Beat in melted chocolate,
sugar and vanilla just until blended. Spoon into crust. Microwave,
uncovered, at 50% power for 16 to 18 minutes or until center is almost
set and knife inserted 1 inch from outer edge comes out clean. Rotate
pie plate one-fourth turn every 4 minutes. Remove from oven. Let stand
for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, in small bowl, stir sour cream, sugar and
vanilla until blended . Spread evenly over hot pie to within 1/4 inch of
crust. Let stand for 10 minutes, then refrigerate at least 8 hours
before serving.
