Or 7 tart apples 1
tablespoon
Butter
Few grains salt 1/2
cup
Sugar 1/2
teaspoon
Nutmeg 12
Marshmallows
Directions:
Line a pie pan with plain pastry. Fill with pared and sliced apples. Combine sugar, salt, and nutmeg.
Sprinkle over apples. Dot with butter. Bake in hot oven (425 F) until crust is brown and the apples tender. Remove from oven. Cover the apples with halved marshmallows. Brown in slow oven (325 F).
Serve warm.
