Grandma Jacobson's Cucumbers in Sour Cream

Ingredients: 1

cucumber,
peeled and thinly sliced

teaspoons
salt 1/2
cup
sour cream 1
tablespoon
lemon juice 1/2
tablespoon
finely chopped onion 1/3
teaspoon
sugar
Directions:
Toss cucumbers with salt, cover and refrigerate until well-chilled. Combine sour cream, lemon juice, onion, and sugar, and mix well. Reserve 1/4 cup mixture for garnish. Combine cucumbers with remainder of sour cream mixture. Refrigerate until chilled - about 2 hours. To serve, arrange cucumbers on a bed of salad greens and pour reserved sour cream mixture over the top. [Grandma sprinkles a little dried dill weed on top of that too.]
