Fresh Strawberry Glaze Pie

Ingredients:

sugar 3

cornstarch 1/2
c
water 1
tb
butter or margarine 1
c
heavy whipping cream 1/2
t
vanilla 2
tb
sugar 1
baked pie shell
Directions:
Wash, hull and drain berries. Crush some so that there is 1 cup of
pulp and juice. combine sugar and cornstarch, add to berries with 1/2
cup water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Lower
heat and cook until thick and clear. Remove from heat and stir in
butter. Cool. Place whole and some sliced berries in pie shell, pour
cooked mixture over and chill for at least 2 hours. garnish top with
whipped cream and sliced whole berries.
