Flaky Pie Crust (amish Cooking)

Ingredients: 2
cups
sifted whole wheat flour 1
teaspoon
salt 2
tablespoons
wheat germ 3/4
cup
margarine 4
tablespoons
ice water (4-5 tablespoons)
Directions:
Combine the flour with the salt in a medium sized bowl, then add the wheat
germ. With a pastry blender, cut in the margarine. Sprinkle the ice water
over the pastry and mix it with a fork. The pastry should be just moist
enough to hold together.
This dough handles like any other using white flour, but it's far more
nutritious.
