Dot's Orange Slice Cake

Ingredients: 1

sugar 4
eggs 3 1/2

all-purpose flour 1/2
cup
buttermilk 1
teaspoon
baking soda 2

pecans 8
ounces
dates 1
pound
orange slice candy 1
can
coconut flakes
Icing 1
cup
orange juice 2
tablespoons
lemon juice 1
pound
powdered sugar
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter, add eggs. Beat well, add flour and milk. Roll nuts dates and candy in part of flour, add to batter along with coconut.
bake 2 1/2 hours at 275 degrees. Leaave in pan to cool.
Mix icing ingredients and coat cake.
