softened

firmly packed brown sugar 1

vegetable oil 1

vanilla 3 1/2

all-purpose flour 1

baking soda 1/2
teaspoon
salt 1
cup
reg. oats,
uncooked

cup
crushed corn flakes cereal 1/2
cup
flaked coconut 1/2
cup
chopped pecans or walnuts
Directions:
Cream butter; add sugars gradually, beating well at medium speed. Add
egg, beat well; add oil and vanilla. Combine flour, soda and salt; add to
creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats and remaining ingredients.
Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten
each ball with a fork. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool
slightly; remove from cookie sheet and cool.
