Floured blueberries (frozen or fresh) 1/2
cup
Soft butter 2
cups
Sugar
pinch

Vanilla 1
Egg 3/4

tablespoon
Butter 2

Boiling water 3
tablespoons
Cornstarch,
moistened with a little cool water

Egg yolks,
beaten
Juice and grated rind of one lemon
Directions: 1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar, add egg, beat well then add flour, salt, baking powder, add milk and mix. Fold in floured berries. Bake in an 8" sq pan 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm with hard sauce or lemon sauce.

Hard Sauce: Beat sugar and butter will, then add whole egg and bet until fluffy. Add vanilla.

Lemon Sauce: Mix and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
