Ingredients: 1/2
c
Butter 1/3
c
Brown sugar 1
Egg, separated 1
c
Flour 1
c
Chopped pecans
Jam or jelly

Salt
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolk. Beat. Add flour and form in small balls the size of a walnut. Dip balls in slightly beaten egg white and roll in nut meats. Press center and bake at 350 degrees 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and press again. Return to oven and bake 10 minutes more. Fill immediately with jam or jelly and let stand until jam has cooled and settled before storing.
