Banana Cream Pie Filling

Ingredients: 1
in
a sauce pan: 2
cups
milk 4
tablespoons
cornstarch 2
tablespoons
butter 1/2
cup
sugar 4
egg yolks
banana
vanilla
Directions:
Cook on medium heat until it thickens then add 2 or 3 bananas and 2 tsp
of vanilla. stir and pour into already baked pie shell. Use your egg
whites for merang topping. beat the 4 egg whites on high speed and slowly
add 5 tbls of sugar when you get stiff peaks add 1tsp of vanila finish
beating until stiff peaks are formed put on top of pie and bake on 350
degrees until golden brown. you can use this basic recipe for coconut
cream pie as well just add coconut instead of bananas. FROM: BOBBIE
