Baked Almond Pie Shell

Ingredients: 1 1/4
c
all-purpose flour 1
t
sugar 1/2
c
slivered almonds 1/3
c
vegetable oil 3
tsp
water,
(3 to 4)
Directions:
Coarsely chop the almonds. Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl,
stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Press into a 9-inch
pieplate. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
Makes a great shell with a nutty flavor/texture. Use with a fruit
recipe that "sets-up" without baking.
