Apple Raisin Walnut Cake

Margarine 1

White flour 1/2

Cinnamon 1/2

Baking soda, in 2/3 c water 1/3
c
Raisins 2
Egg whites, whipped 2/3
c
Sugar 1
c
Whole-wheat flour 1/2
ts
Ground cloves 1/2
ts
Salt 1
c
Finely chopped apple 1/3
c
Chopped walnuts
Directions:
Cream the margarine and sugar. Add dry ingredients and water
alternately, then apple. Dust the raisins and nuts with a small
amount of flour and add them to the batter. Fold in the egg whites.
Bake in a 8 in. square nonstick pan at 350F for 30 to 40 min. or
until firm. Cal: 295; Fat 2 1/5g.
