Apple Pie That's Good for You

Ingredients:
ready-made crust-9-inch pie 4
c
thinly sliced,
peeled, cored
apples,
very green and sour
2
tb
lemon juice 1/2
c
sugar 1/2
t
cinnamon 1/4
t
ground cloves 1
t
vanilla 1
c
granola 1/4
c
raisins 1
tb
unsalted margarine
Directions:
Recipe by: The Diet Principal Preheat oven to 400. In a glass mixing
bowl, mixed the apples with the lemon juice, sugar, cinnamon, cloves,
vanilla, granola and raisins. Fill the unbaked pie shell with the apple
mixture. Dot top with margarine. Place the pie in the oven and bake for
15 minutes. Lower oven to 350 and bake another 20-25 minutes. Remove pie
from oven and let cool. If desired, make a lattice topping for the
pie.
