Ingredients:
1  cup  butter
1 1/2  cups  sugar
2    eggs
5  tablespoons  water
1/2  teaspoon  cream of tartar
4 1/2  cups  flour
1/2  teaspoon  baking soda

Directions:
Mix all ingredients well. Chill dough. Roll out and cut with cookie cutters. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown.
