Strawberry Ice Cream - Lowfat

milk, skim 3/4

evaporated milk 7/8
pound
sweetened condensed milk 2
tablespoons
vanilla 2
cups
strawberries,
crushed

tablespoons
sugar
Directions:
Beat eggs in large mixing bowl. Add sugar and salt, beating until completely blended. Bring 5 cups milk to a boil. Add hot milk slowly to egg mixture, beating constantly. Add evaporated and condensed mil and vanilla. Add crushed fruit with its juice and sugar. Let cool in refrigerator or freezer. Pour into a 4 quart ice cream container. Freeze according to freezer direction. Yield: 1 gallon
I use 16 oz/ 1pound for strawberries. This should be about 1 pint.
Split recipe in half for the smaller ice cream maker.
