Ingredients: 1 1/2
cups
Confectioner's sugar
(sifted) 3/4
cup
Butter 1
Egg 2 1/2
cups
Flour 1
teaspoon
Vanilla 1
teaspoon
Almond flavoring 1
teaspoon
Soda 1
teaspoon
Cream of tartar
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar. Mix in egg & flavorings. Mix dry ingredients & blend into above mixture, dough will be stiff. Can refrigerate a few min.
or can make into balls & place on a cookie sheet about 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart. Press down with a fork. Place pecan on each cookie (optional) & bake at 375 degrees until brown.
