Macaroon Ice Cream Delight

Ingredients:
2  lbs.  almond macaroons (fresh
    moist, mound type)
1/2  gallon  natural vanilla ice
    cream
3  oz.  bourbon

Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Crumble macaroons by hand onto 2 large cookie sheets. Bake in a 400 oven for 10 minutes until golden brown, tossing occasionally. Let cool. Melt ice cream to a semi-soft consistency. Place ice cream in a large bowl. Add macaroon crumbs and mix thoroughly. Add bourbon and mix thoroughly. Refreeze mixture immediately in two 1/2-gallon containers. Serve frozen.
