Hair Rinses and Toners

Ingredients:

-----HERBAL RINSE FOR NORMAL HAIR-----
1/2  cup  White vinegar
1/2  cup  Water
2  tablespoons  Rosemary
2  tablespoons  Red clover
2  tablespoons  Nettle

-----SAGE RINSE FOR DARK HAIR-----
2  cups  Malt OR red wine vinegar
2  cups  Water
1/4  cup  Sage

-----SEA RINSE FOR DAMAGED HAIR-----
1/4  cup  Sea kelp
1  cup  SAGE RINSE

Directions:
1. ** Vinegar is the important ingredient. It restores the natural acid balance to the hair and takes out any trace of soap.

2. Herbal Rinse for Normal Hair: Combine all and bring to rolling boil in a glass or enamel pot. Simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes, cover let steep 30 minutes

3. Sage Rinse for Dark Hair: Combine all in glass or enamel pan and boil 15 minutes Strain, cool, store in tightly capped bottle. To Use: After shampooing pour 1/2c over hair, rinse.

4. Sea Rinse for Damaged Hair: Combine kelp and RINSE in a pt or qt size jar, cap tightly, shake well. Apply generously to freshly shampooed hair, leave on 20 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
