Chocolate Chip or M&m Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients: 2

Butter 4
c
Flour 2
ts
Soda 2
c
Sugar 5
c
Blended oatmeal** 24
oz
Chocolate chips 2
c
Brown sugar 1
t
Salt 1
8 oz. Hershey Bar (grated) 4
Eggs 2
ts
Baking powder 3
c
Chopped nuts (your choice) 2
ts
Vanilla
** Measure oatmeal and blend
In a blender to a fine
Powder
Directions:
Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together
with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate
chips, Hershey Bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches
apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes
112 cookies.
These are really good, I like to use red and green m and m's to
replace the chocolate chips and serve them as christmas cookies.
