Spiced Rum Tea
1.00 c Water
3.00 tb Whole cloves
2.00 qt Unsweetened tea
1.00 (46-oz) can pineapple juice
0.67 c Orange juice
0.25 c Plus 2 Tbsp lemon juice
0.75 c Sugar
Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan; stir in cloves. Reduce
heat, and simmer, uncovered, 3 minutes. Strain mixture, discarding
Combine boiled water, tea, pineapple juice, orange juice, lemon juice
in a large Dutch oven; stir well. Cook over medium heat until sugar
dissolves and mixture is thoroughly heated.
Stir 1 Tbsp rum into each 1 cup serving. Serve hot.
Yield: about 1 gallon
